''Apple of my Eye'' 2023. 100% cotton prints

This is an oil painting of my partners arm reaching to claim an apple, photography taken in Thorndale, Ontario. The inspiration behind the paint came from desire to create a painting that represents the cultivation of natural resources during harvest season. Contrasting colours of red, blue, and green create a strong direction of focus for each element within the painting. A sentimental piece that may also signify religious/spiritual beliefs and ideology.
